Caplin Bay September 28th 1856

Dear Peter

                           Enclosed you will find particulars

and measurements of Badcock’s Place in Brigus.

He has been here to pay the money (that is give an

order on Wm. F. Wilson for it) and get a Bill of Sale,

but as we had no power or authority here either

to receive the money or give the Bill of Sale, he is

gone to St. John’s himself to get the money from

Mr. Wilson and pay the same either to you or

T. G. Morry which when paid you will please give

him a Bill of Sale – if you have his note of him please

give it to him with the B of S ---

My mother is getting quite smart and in good

spirits ---- all here well.

                                                Yours very truly

                                                etc.  etc.  etc.

Amo Note Hand [?] £ 22. [?]         R. Morry
