From NGB website transcripts of Evening Telegram Obits Daly, Catherine (Katie) (nee Howlett) Passed peacefully away on Sunday, March 26th, 2000, in the presence of her loving family, at the HSC, Catherine (Katie) Daly, age 72 years. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, grandson Daniel Wheeler, her sister Eileen Elge, brother-in-law Frank Fardy and sister-in-law Betty Howlett. Left with loving memories are her children. Sharon (Doug Whelan), Harold and Barry; Wayne (Gail), Jason (Jennifer) and Carl; Brian (Gloria Ralph), Samantha, Jeremy and Meghan; Brenda (John Wheeler), Andrew, Julia and Jeanette; Tony (Sheila Butler), Olivia and Joel; Terry (Jane), Lisa and Shawn; Patricia (David Sweetman), Alexandra and Patrick; Michael; sisters; Mary Fardy and Sr. Rita Howlett, St. Patrick's Convent; brothers; Vincent (Imelda), Gander; Dennis (Anne) Bramlea, Ontario; Anthony, John, St. John's and Austin, B.C.; brother-in-law Jim Elge, Milton, Ontario. Also left are a large circle of relatives and friends. Waking at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Monday, 8-10 pm and Tuesday 10 am - 10 pm.. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 29th, 2000 at 10 am from St. Paul's Church. Cremation to follow.
