From David Wells 240210: From - The Telegram, St. John's, Newfoundland, February 24, 2010 Angela Whalen - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on February 23, 2010, Angela Whalen of Cape Broyle, aged 90 years old. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Whalen, daughter Rosemary Whelan, parents Rose (John) Kent, sister Mary (Paul) Perry, brothers: Michael (Ester) Kent, Augustus (Agnes) Kent and Peter (Stephanie) Kent. Leaving to mourn her daughters: Agnes (Joseph Sesk), Catherine (Woodrow) Snow, Bernice Whelan, Lorraine Spurrell and son James Whelan. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Pamela and Jamie (Amanda) Sesk, Joanne Snow and Jason (Patrina) Snow, Aprille and Emily Whelan, Sarah Spurrell; two great-grandchildren: Asha and Lincoln Snow and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Wednesday, February 24th and Thursday, February 25th from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday, February 26th from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Cape Broyle, Friday, February 26th at 3 p.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape R.C. Cemetery, Cape Broyle.
