Email from Margaret Dickson 02 Nov 2006: Also in 1861 a Gilbert  E Baddeley  was a nephew in a household in Plymouth. The  boy was 16, so born in 1845 approx, so could have been a son of Caroline and Gilbert W.

This may be a stray family. The baby is probably the child of Amelia. Gilbert could well have been sent to Plymouth.... naval school etc. He was born in Plymouth, but thats very feasible with his father a Master Mariner

Could have been the fellow who married in 1892, altho he would have been 47 then. Could have had one wife who died and 1892 could have been 2nd marriage
