Hannah Mary Ryan (nee Farrell) - Passed peacefully away on Friday July 22nd, 2016 at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre, Hannah Mary Ryan, age 83 years. Predeceased by her husband Michael; granddaughter Marion Ryan; sisters: Violet Kilfoy, Bridget Kilfoy and Mary Ann Farrell; brothers: Stan Farrell, Edward Farrell, Ronald Farrell and John Farrell; brothers-in-law: Francis Ryan, Edmund Ryan, James Ryan, Rev. Fr. Kevin Ryan, Rev. Fr. William Ryan, Aiden Keough, Valentine Farrell, Leo Kilfoy, Luke Kilfoy and James Clowe; sisters-in-law: Sr. Marie Ryan, Philomena Keough, Genevieve Ryan and Anita Ryan. Leaving to mourn son Kevin Ryan (Madonna); daughter Maureen Ryan (Pat); her loving granddaughter and grandsons: Margaret-Anne Kavanagh (Michael), Michael Ryan (Darla Ward) and Mark Ryan; great-granddaughters: Hannah Kavanagh and Heidi Kavanagh; sisters-in-law: Helen Clowe, Eleanor Ryan, Florence Farrell and Isabel Farrell; also a wide circle of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 25th, 2016 at 2 p.m. from Mary Queen of Peace, Torbay Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Emmaus House or to The Gathering Place.
