From the Fox Family Tree, Rayle Farm, dated 1856: " Dinna Fox, daughte r of John
and Ann Fox (first wife) was born in 1716. She was the granddaughter o f John
and Rebecka Fox. She was about to be marrie to William Polkinghorn. Th e wedding
day was fixed, the wediners came and dinner prepared. Dinna would no t come out
of bed, butas soon as the clock struck twenve she came out of bed an d dressed
and came downstairs and danced. In a few weeks she was married to Jam es James
of Mingoose in St. Agnes. She was the mother of John James, Esq. of Ro semunday
in St. Agnes and grandmother of the lawyer, James James of St. Agnes . She died
in 1790, age 74 years. She was the niece of Benjamin Fox and he made h er his
Executor along with her sister, Rebecka Fox. Rebecka Fox was married t o Thomas
Bawden. They had Mr. Trewartha's estate, Polkinghorn's, Willoughby's a nd
Harringtonwood. She held Mr. Trewartha's until 1782." [Ref:Molly Barte r, 1995]
