Today I found the 1911 Census record for Morgan O'Brien and his household online on the Irish National Archives website.

Perhaps the most remarkable thing of all in this census is that there is a sister named Norah O'Brien living with them. This is the first that I have ever heard of her. She did not appear on the 1901 Census when three of the boys, including Morgan, were shown still living at home with their mother, Eliza. She may have been working as a domestic somewhere else at the time or even at boarding school perhaps.

I have added her despite my reservations. She is too young to be a child of Eliza Reidy, who would have been around 59 when Norah was ostensibly born. There are family rumours that William O'Brien did marry a second time. if this were so, she could be a child by his second wife. But so far I have no evidence to support this.

Her information on the 1911 Census reads:

Norah O'Brien, Sister, Roman Catholic, Read and Write, Age 30, No Profession, Single, Where born - Tipperary, Irish language - Blank

MISTAKE FOUND!!!

She is not Norah O'Brien, she is Norah (or Nora) Lawlor, and she is not a sister of the head of the household, she is a sister of his wife Kate Lawlor. I had already known that she had a sister by that name because she was a witness at their wedding. It all makes perfect sense because she would be about the same age as her sister, not Morgan. So I am making this correction here now. unfortunately as far as I know there is no way to propose a correction to the Census record online
