Donald Mockler
December 16 2020

Donald "Donnie" Mockler of New Denmark, New Brunswick passed away in hospital on December 16 at age 77.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Edgar; his son Glenn and grandchildren Jordon (Jordyn) and Joel; Faye's children Randi, Jacalyn, and Katie, and grandchildren Lauren, William, Holly, Hannah and Jacob. He will also be missed by sisters Linda and Sheila, Aunt Reta, and cousins, nieces and nephews; in particular Paula, who spent much time entertaining, cooking and caring for him.

Born in New Denmark in 1943, Donnie was a lifelong member of the community. He began as a potato farmer, but an early passion for trucking led him to build a successful trucking business. He and Faye attended St. Andrew's United Church in Plaster Rock.

The family would like to recognize the staff of the Grand Falls General Hospital, with special thanks to Doctors Senechal and Blunston, and Nurse Christine.

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting on Saturday, January 2, 2021 prior to the service. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 3 p.m. Interment will be in St. Ansgar's Anglican Cemetery, New Denmark at a later date. Covid-19 protocols such as distancing and the wearing of face covering will be mandatory.
