160108: There is obviously some confusion over the date of emigration since they have a son born in Stoke Gabriel in 1872, the year after they are supposed to have sailed for Australia. According to information on theInternet the POLMAISE only did one sailing to Australia in 1871 but several in 1872. More than likely they were on one of the 1872 sailings. See below.
