This man signed as witness at the wedding of William Reid and Maud Wheeler. I am guessing he was his brother.
Interestingly, Mom though that Frank Reid was the husband of Maud who died in the war. Is it possible that she married Frank after William was killed in action? Is it also possible that Frank was then killed in action himself, since Maud was a long time widow when Mom went to visit her in 1941?
In 1924 Frank immigrated to Detroit and indicated that he was either single or divorced. A second document that recorded this crossing noted he had a permanent address in Windsor, Ontario and a wife bamed Sarah. I don't know if this was a permanent move.
