Predeceased by her husband Thomas; daughter Diane Power; parents Jack and Julia Rickert; brothers: John, Jim and Ron; sisters: Belle and Bride and son-in-law Ray Mercer. Leaving to mourn her sons: Bob (Shirley), Tom (Carol), Dennis (Roxanne) and Derrick (Linda); daughters: Daphne Kennedy (Bill) and Bernadette Mercer (Kevin); son-in-law Bernard Power; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; life long friend Mary Yetman; also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday from 7:30 p.m. - 10 p.m., Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 2, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. from St. John Bosco Parish. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Julia's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
