100621 from FindAGrave:

Son of Rev James Harvey.
Husband of Sarah Ann (Jessie) Brown, he and his wife arrived in Nfld 1852, as minister of St Andrews Free Presbyterian Church. He was also a noted historian and naturalist. In 1892 he lived at Devon Row, St John's, & helped save the Row when fire swept the city, as he & others stayed on the roof using wet blankets & brooms to keep burning cinders from taking hold. They were successful, although the house immediately west was destroyed.
Vital Statistic death record states he was buried at Riverhead, an early name for General Protestant Cemetery. Died at St John's, aged 82 years.
