300312 from Dave Wells: From - The Telegram, St. John's, Newfoundland, July 2000 Rossiter, Matthew Patrick - Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, July 19th, 2000 in the presence of his family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, after a brief illness, Matthew Patrick Rossiter of Cape Broyle, age 91 years. Predeceased by his sisters Ellen Kelly, Annie Scott and Ina Carew. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 63 years Monica (Mon Rice). Left with fond and loving memories his children; Bridie Hawkins (Phonse), Glenda, Paula, Carolyn, Maureen and Suzanne, Raymond (Enid), Jamie and Stephen, Dorothy O'Brien (Andrew), Andrea and Aaron, Tillie Sullivan (Joey), Darren, Derek and Daniel, Muriel Ronayne and Martin (Deceased), Tracy and Tina, Marion Murphy (Charlie), Barry and Diane, Pat (Linda) and Evan; seven precious great-grandchildren; Zachary and Garrett Johns, Clinton and John Agristi, Santana and Devon Murphy and Bethany Rossiter, also left to mourn his twin brother and best friend Joe; brothers; Raymond at Cape Broyle, Fred at Lawlor's Personal Care Home, Goulds, Phones at Kitchener, Ontario; sisters; Rita at Cape Broyle and Uriel at Brooklyn, New York, also his dedicated Home Care Workers; Eileen Coady, Bernadette Aspell, Ella Carew and Denise Carey, also a large circle of relations and friends. Remains resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation starting at 10 am - 10 pm on Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Church, Cape Broyle on Thursday, July 20th, 2000 at 5 p.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape Cemetery, Cape Broyle. "Gone from our lives but will live forever in our hearts."
