301110:
The information I have from Treacy Breen is contradictory. She had told me that it was Tommy Quinlisk's sister who had died young. Yet in her obit on Rootsweb to her grandmother she mentions Annie and says she was 13 years old when she died in 1958 meaning she was born in 1945. It seems there is a mistake as this would make her more probably the daughter of Matthew Treacy. But he was supposed to have had only three daughters and Treacy has already given me the names of them. This needs Treacy's help to sort out.
180714:
The gravestone of Matthew Treacy and other family members clarifies that she was his daughter and that she died "tragically" but does not elaborate. Presumably an accidental death.

Alt. Birth: Between Jul and Sep 1953, Carlow, Leinster, Ireland. No way of knowing if this is the correct registration of birth. The mother gave her surname as O'Brien. But the year and location are correct more or less. There were no other Carlow births of a girl named Mary Treacy in the period from 1952-1956
