Mary "Josephine" Hynes (nee Vickers) - Passed peacefully away on February 23, 2016, one week prior to her 84th birthday. Born in Witless Bay, NL on March 2, 1932, the daughter of the late Patrick and Kathleen Vickers. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Kevin (1932-2010), infant son Robert, sisters Theresa, Maude and Imelda, brother Michael and brother-in-law Clifford. Loving mother to Phyllis (Mark), Cathleen (Brent), Jacqueline (Ron) and Kevin. Dear sister to Ann, Patrick (Josephine) and Edward (Bernadette). Loving and cherished grandmother to Mark, Joshua, Allan, Julia, Patrick, Ashley, Jessica, Kaitryn, Laura and Jennifer. Sister-in-law to John (Betty), Fred (Thelma), Howard (Evelyn) and Phyllis (Roy). Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews and leaving behind a large circle of dear friends. Special thanks to the caring staff on the CAM Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital in Saint John who provided Mom with such wonderful care in her final years with us. Funeral services and a celebration of her life to take place in Happy Valley-Goose Bay during Summer 2016. In lieu of flowers, the family would request in memoriam donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada
