Arthur Fox was born 27/2/1856 at Ventronraze,Illogan, district of Redruth, Cornwall, and died 18/8/1933 age 77 at Tregajorran, Illogan. He was the son of Arthur and Mary (Edwards) Fox.
He married Bessie Daddow at Illogan 27/5/1882, where she made her mark on the register.
She was born 16/8/1857 at Illogan (SEE DADDOW TREE) dau of John and Jane Daddow, originally of St.Agnes.
And she died 25/11/1927, age 70 with her husband present.

Arthur Fox Sr third son of John and Rebecka Fox was buried age 75 year s. He
died at Tregea and was the first of the Fox family who was buried ou t of the
church. He was left Tregea for his part of his mother's will in 1717.
!WILL:Dated 3 May 1748. He gave half of his Tin Bounds to his son Joh n and he

!WILL:In Rebecca Fox's will, dated 12/3/1711, her son Benjamin had Ray le,
Whitfall and Ventonnage [Ventonraze?] for his part.
!Benjamin Fox never married, and was twin to Jacob, whose will left hi m his
property; however, Benjamin outlived Jacob only one year. Benjamin pu t John
Fox's life on Rayle Farm for 300 pounds Sep 29th,1736 when John (hi s brother
Arthur's son) was 7 years old and paid for it all in silver.
!:From Fox Family Tree Red Books: Benjamin Fox, son of John and Rebeck a died on
August 23rd 1737 age 57 in Nancekuke in the house where Mrs. Willoughb y lived.
That was the house where the stocking full of guineas were found in th e roof of
the house. When Benjamin was dying he could not speak. He pointed wit h his hand
where the guineas were but they did not understand what he meant. Uncl e Jamme
Willoughby had the guineas. Benjamin's will was made August 3rd, 1737 . He gave
5/-to Christian Fox, 5/-to John Fox, 5/- to Jane Fox, 5/- to Ann Fox(a ll sons
and dau of John and Ann Fox) and 10 guineas to his brother Arthur Fox . To John
Fox, son of Arthur and Julia Fox, he gave Rayle, Witfull and ventourag e
tenament with all the corn and hay on it, two oxen, two calves, one co lt and
ten sheep. John Fox had to pay his sister, Rebecka Trewartha, five pou nds and
to his sister Elizabeth Fox, five pounds and to his brother Arthur Fo x 10. He
gave all the rest and residue to Dinna and Rebecka Fox, daus of Joh n & Ann and
made them joint executors. He then gave all his goods and chattels t o his
brother, Arther Fox and Stephen Tonkin in trust for Dinnah and Rebeck a Fox.
Witnesses were:John Knight, Margey Brown and Julian Fox.

had lived there for many years.
