She is survived by three daughters: Bonnie Howard of Somerset, Ky., Margie Brookey of Deland, Florida, and Donna Jane Slemker of Eaton; stepson, Wilson W. Cripps Jr.; stepdaughter, Ruby Dean Ervin, both of Tn,; seven grandchildren, 6 ggrandchildren; sisters, Dora McKenzie of Winchester, Ky. and Irene Webb of Brookville, Ohio; brothers, Grover of Conn., Herman of New Lebanon, and Hubert Fugate of Eaton.

A son, Ronald K. Cripps died in 2002; also preceding her in death are six brothers, Henry, Dalano, Robert, William, Charles and Carl Fugate.

AGDISH, Sandra L. Sandra L. "Sandy" (Fugate) Agdish, 68, of Newington, beloved wife of Melvin L. Agdish, passed away Friday, (October 14, 2011) at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, daughter of the late Grover C. and Ruth J. (Wheeler) Fugate, she was a resident of Newington for the past 45 years. Sandy was employed in the insurance industry for many years prior to her retirement. She was a loving mother and never missed any of her sons' sporting events and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Sandy was an antique enthusiast, a passion she learned from her mother. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Marc Agdish of Newington and Matthew and Ericka Agdish of Grafton, MA; a brother and sister-in-law, Grover J. and Andrea Fugate of Warwick, RI; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Frances and Mal Abrams of Long Island, NY; three grandchildren, David, Anderson and Molly and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services are private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonicare Home Health & Hospice, 33 North Plains Industrial Rd., Wallingford, CT 06492. Here is a cautionary note. The SSDI Transcripts give information on the place of issue of the Social Security card, not the place of death of the person. They do, on the other hand, give the date of death without giving where that occurred. Thus there is a very real potential that those who are not aware of this weakness are mistakenly giving the place of death as the place where the Social Security number was initially issued.
