GRANT, William James Corner Brook, NF It is with great sadness that the family of the late William James Grant announce his passing at the J. I. O'Connell Centre on Sunday, April 1st, 2001 at the age of 75. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his three sons: Douglas (Rosalind), Gordon (Karen) and David. Four grandchildren: Kimberly,Douglas, Christopher and Stephen. Two brothers: Robert Grant (Anne), and John Grant (Nina). Four sisters: Emily LeMessurier (Robert), Hazel Gabriel, Jean Bullen and Carrie Howard (Jim). Sisters-in-law: Ruth (Walter) Guzzwell, and Cynthia (Roy) Murley, brother-in-law: Walter (Nellie) LeMessurier, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Frances on November 11th, 2000. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday from 7-9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2-4:00 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 4th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Curling. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressionsof sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
