I have no information on this person other than what I just found in Robert Carter's Journal on October 25, 1846:
Mattw Saunders died last
night a young Man son of Jno Saunders -

There is zero information on such a person on the NGB website, either as Matthew Saunders or Matthew Sanders.

The Saunders family of Renews was Anglican and the records for the Anglicans on the Southern Shore is much better than that for the Catholics even though there was never an Anglican Church in Renews. So it is mind boggling that this person should have slipped completely under the radar like this.

I don't even know if he was a child of the first, second or third wife of John William Saunders.
