Mary Madonna Swain (nee Ledwell) - (August 11, 1929 - October 25, 2020) - Passed peacefully away at Glenbrook Lodge Nursing Home, St. John's on October 25, 2020 surrounded by her loving family Madonna (Ledwell) Swain of Calvert in her 91st year.
Predecessors by her husband Aiden, parents Vincent & Monica Ledwell, brothers Cecil (Alice) & Robert (Marion) Ledwell, sons-in-law Gary Hayden, Pete Jones & Gerry O'Leary.
Leaving to mourn her loving family, sons: Aiden (Wanda), Vince (Margie), Glenn, John (Rhonda), Danny (Lynn), Barry (Heather), Colin (Kim). Daughters: Monnie (Gary) Lundrigan, Evie (Eugene) Brothers, Miriam (Bobby Trainor), Gloria (Ian Gillies), Barbara (Dave Bickford), Shirley, Colleen (Paul Carter). Grandchildren: Jeffrey, Lisa, Cory, Stephen, Robin, Sasha, Susan, Mandy, Kelly, Lori, Allison, Christopher, Andrew, Joshua, Adam, Kyle, Evan, Farren, Scott, Samantha, Aaron, Ashley, Stefan, Lauren, Michael, Alexander, Marcus, Jessica, Connor, Kaleb, Kiera & Aivia & their spouses, and 37 great-grandchildren. Sisters-in law Marie Sullivan, Betty Power, Carmel Swain, Betty Swain, Brother-in-Law Reg (Margie) Swain, as well as a large circle of nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends and her special caregivers at Glenbrook Lodge.

Visitation at Faheys Funeral Home in Fermeuse on Tuesday, October 27th from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Calvert at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 28th. Internment to follow at Holy Trinity Parish Cemetery, Ferryland.

Mary Rosalie Colbert Ralph - (March 30, 1939 - August 07, 2018) - Passed away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Center, Palliative Care Unit on August 7, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer, Mary Rosalie Colbert Ralph (nee Ledwell) (Age 79) B.A, B.Ed., MA. Her years have been a search for learning. She also studied at McGill University (Quebec City); St. Paul's (Ottawa); and Unversite Wein (Vienna, Austria). Predeceased by parents William (1980) & Esther (1964) Ledwell; Grandson Brant (1998); daughter Karen (2003); husband Ambrose (2012); and infant great grand-daughter Gemma Naomi (2017). Leaving to morn: daughters Barb (Randy Aspell); Diane (Ken White); Michelle (Wayne Ward); Son: Joey (Peggy McGraw). Grandchildren: Meghan (Cory); Lori (Russell), Jacinta (Scott), Brittany (Joe); Melissa (Tony), Kyle; Johnny, Cassandra & John; Michaela. Great grand-children: Ava, Liam, Sarah, Jaden & Gracie. Sisters: Mary Ellen (Aiden Kavanagh); Ethel (Joe Hynes). Special cousins: Madonna Swain and Josephine Maloney; and extended family and friends.
