John Joseph McDonald - March 9th, 1937 - September 26th, 2015
It is with heavy hearts the family of John Joseph McDonald announce his passing on September 26, 2015. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Violet McDonald; sister Eleanor Cowan; brother-in-law Harry Cowan; nephews Brian McDonald, Paul McDonald, Kevin McDonald (children of Mike and Marg); mother-in-law Elizabeth Flood-Ronayne; father-in-law Jack Flood; Father-in-law Con Ronayne; brother-in-law Greg Flood and sister-in-law Helen Flood. Leaving to mourn his wife of 58 years Anita (Flood); son Jeff (Judy) and their children Cole and Kimberly (Liam); daughter Colette (Dave) and her children Mitch Heistinger (Brittany), Brett Heistinger (Ashley) and their father Rick Heistinger; son Scott (Tina); brothers Mike (Marg), Tom (Stella); brother-in-law John Flood (Brenda); sister-in-law Pat Hurley; nieces and nephews Michael, Paula, Rob, Mike, Keith, Christina, Michelle, Dale, Chuck, Katie, Vickie, and their families, Susan, Richard, and Paula Jarvis, as well as a large circle of friends. A special thank you to the CCU staff at the Health Science Centre Complex, whose compassion and caring guided us through the night. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church on Waterford Bridge Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers accepted or donations can be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
