29 Nov 1742 is the date of death and 28 Nov 1742 the date of burial according to different sources. Obviosly there is an error and the simplest solution for now is to reverse the dates which I am doing today (111213). Should I ever get around to researching this family further I will correct any errors I may have made as a result of this best guess.

This record of baptism showed up in a search for all names similar to Morry in the Stoke Gabriel register. I have no idea who the mother may be other than this limited information. Until now I did not know of any Rebecca in our line. But our line (i.e. that of William and Jennet) was the only Morry family (by multiple spellings of that name) in the register at the time this woman would have been born so it seems that she was a child of one of the children of William and Jennet. I just don't know which one so I am leaving her unattached for now. It is also possible that she was married to one of the Morey men and that after his death or otherwise she bore a child out of wedlock. This would make it even more difficult to figure out who she might be associated with since there are no spouses of Morey men in that era named Rebecca either.

101106: It isn't clear how or if this William Morey, born in Cornworthy, is related to William H. Morey and his wife Jane, born in Stoke Gabriel and/or James and Willmett Morey born in Dittisham and living in Cornworthy. All three of these villages are within one or two miles of each other. It seems quite likely that they may all be one family with James and Willmett being the father and mother and one of the Williams being their son, but perhaps not as the dates don't jive. They are probably related nonetheless.

Whether they are distant relations of our line or not (a vestige of the family that used to live in Stoke Gabriel several generations before) is also unclear.
