Note that I am speculating that the death record in the Vital Records is for this John Neville. It may not be.

Death of John Neville, aged 88, on 23 May 1896, residing on Topsail Rd., occupation farmer. Old age.

Note that there is also a record of a John T. Neville who died at Rae Island where Bowring Park is now located on Nov. 22 1909 at the age of 85. But he was a Presbyterian and a Civil Servant which does not sound correct for our person.

Note that the date of Anastasia's death was either transcribed incorrectly by Dave Wells in 2012 from the Belevedere Cemetery log or was incorrect in the log itself. The Newspaper account of her death appeared in the Evening Telegram on March 21, 1887 and it was said that she died the day previous.
