David Taylor's information on this family conflict in a number of areas with that given to me years ago by Helen Steinke. Since she has passed away now, and since church records for this family are far from complete, I cannot at this time sort out the differences and am therefore keeping both conflicting dates for now.

180719:
It was reported in the exhibit at Admiralty House Museum for the 100th anniversary of the trans Atlantic flight of Alcock and Brown that they not only departed from "Lester's Field", which belonged to Charles Frederick Leaster, but he was also the principal carter who brought the aircraft for assembly in Newfoundland from the ships on which they arrived to the various teams' chosen departure places.

120718:
According to Janet Lester (information given to Enid O'Brien), Uplands was the name of the property on Brookfield Rd. across from where Lester's Farm is located today and it belonged to Cyril George Lester, who was a farmer. This is where Catherine White Morry died but no one knows why she was there since there is no close familial ties between the two families.
