Eugene Pennell - (April 23 1962 - June 06 2021) - Eugene passed away June 06 2021. He was predeceased by his parents John Mike & Irene Pennell, brother Reg, Grandparents: Daniel & Margaret Pennell, Chesley & Margaret McCarthy. Left to mourn are his sisters Terri Myers (Jeff Texas) and Kimberley Drake (Corey NL). His brothers Leo (Cindy) and Howard (NL), Duane (Helene Oshawa, ON). Daughters Janine Coady Kendall, Meghan Pennell. Son Tyler Pennell (all NL). Nephews Jordan Tobin (Rebecca), Justin (Susan) and Mitchell (Desiree) Finlay, Ethan Drake. Niece Chantale Pennell. Also great nieces and nephews and family and friends near and far. Eugene lived & worked in Oshawa ON for many years, He had a quiet life in recent years with his mother in Trepassey. He was known by all in his community as a friendly and helpful man. Many knew him for his kindness to others and his quick willingness to lend a hand where needed. Many would say he had a heart of gold. He loved sports and as a younger man participated fully. He loved a good laugh and to carry on. He was never a person to complain or burden anyone else with his own issues. He took things in good stride. He loved his children, Janine, Meghan and Tyler even from afar. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Special thanks to: Paula Corrigan, Eugene's cousin, who showed so much kindness and visited him frequently and stayed with him to the end.
