I am merging Emily Sarah Carter Rendell and Sally Sarah Carter Rendell today. I had the latter only on the strength of the Carter family tree which is very confusing and often erroneous. My guess is that the notation on the tree simply meant to imply that Sally was her nickname, not that there was a separate sister by that name.

Today I have added her date of death and burial to accord with a record in the register of St. Nicholas Church in Shaldon. It seems very likely that there was only one Fanny Rendell in the parish at that time, other than her mother, and I have a much later date of death for her, though it is not referenced unfortunately.
