Notes
General:
[Seskfile2.FTW] [Master File.ftw] John' s death is before 1898 as Julia was listed as a widow in Lovell' s Directory as of this Date.

270111: Brenda Louis Smith claims this couple as the parents of her ancestor Bridget Sisk but has contradictory information on her birth that make it likely that this is not correct. She does not give dates of birth or death for them and shows none of the others as siblings. This discrepancy calls for clarification.

Notes
General:
270711: I only know the name of this person from Brenda Louise Smith. I do not know where she found it as it is not found in any of the other sources I have used for this family.

280711 this from David Wells: "Another thing is, there was a Michael Sisk/Sesk who lived in Aquaforte in the 1850's. His name is on a petition and a court case and he had at least three children who are shown in the records. As far as Anne Marie's family knows they were not related. And the only one of the children I have been able to track died in 1933. Though I have tracked down one of the daughter's descendents, a grand son. However he knows less than I do. Bridget could be from that line. But that is a possibility only, not proof.

If Michael was old enough to sign a petition in the 1850s he had to be at least 20 then. He could be Bridget's brother.

One thing is for certain If Anne Marie's dad didn't have contact with the family from Aquaforte, as his wife was from there, it is a pretty solid bet they are not related, or at least not on this side of the pond. I would love to do a DNA test on the descendant and Anne Marie."

NB: Anne Marie is David's wife, Anne Marie Sesk, believed to descend from John Sesk, shown here as Bridget and Michael's brother for now.

140518 from FindMyPast:

This is a bit of a shot in the dark, but it COULD be the William Sisk whose wife was Catherine and who was supposed to be the original member of the Sisk/Sesk family of Ferryland area. There are two versions on FindMyPast, one taken from the transcript and the other of the same original record at the National Library of Ireland. Interestingly, in both cases the transcript contains a spelling error in the surname of the bride but different in each case:
