An annotation in the church register of birth'/baptisms says that she Professed in the Order of the Holy Cross as Sister Mary Rosella. Mary Rosella is the name that her sister Esther Battcock Morry gave to her third daughter after her twin first born daughters both died. I assume that this is the reason and I never knew this previously. She obviously was looking for a blessing on the daughter who did indeed survive.

His gravestone give his age at death as 49. This is not credible. His mother would have been over 45 at the time of his birth if this were so and his youngest child would have been born when he was 16. My guess is that he was 59, not 49, when he died and I am going to put 1830 in as a birth date for him tentatively
