" Ernest only had two children, twin girls. Victoria married Cyril Hayes and they only had one daughter Rosemary. Alfreda married Thomas O'Brien and they had no children. Thomas had a stroke and was sent out to St. Patrick's nursing home. About 5 years ago Alfreda was up the harbour playing cards. She left the home and the next morning they found her car by the wharf in Cape Broyle. She wasn't in it and there has been no trace of her ever since. It is one of the unsolved mysteries of Cape Broyle."
