050109: "Yes Mum died in 1971 - heart attack in Melbourne - January 1971. I don't have the exact date with me and at the thime I was living in England.

Bob and Hugh Donald - her younger brothers pre-deceased her - also from heart attacks. I think I have their dates at home in the DONALD family tree. Unfortunately my two brothers and I inherited the high blood pressure problem that lead to the early deaths of my 2 uncles - Mum and her next eldest sister. Only the eldest sister lived to a ripe old age - 90."
