Age 83, Born 1930 (Ferryland) - Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Home, St.John's, surrounded by her loving family on Dec. 17, 2013, Gen Clowe (nee Kavanagh), predeceased by her husband Ernest Clowe on June26-2003 ,her parents: William & Margaret Kavanagh (Calvert), brothers Walter, Leo, Anthony, Robert, Randell; sisters: Mary Bridget, Kathleen, Till, Veronica, Evelyn. Leaving to mourn: brothers Bill (Calvert), Pius (Goose Bay), sisters: Maime Grady (Hamilton, ON), Anne Puddister (Bay Bulls, NL), children: Jeanie, Molly (Joe), Bill (Sharon), Eileen (Gerald), Ronnie, Paula (Doug), Shirley (Andrew), Ernest, Lindsay, Ruby (Rick), grandchildren: Steven (Mary), Cory, Roger, Shelley, Susan, Nicole, Anthony, Jessica, Emily, Brady - Great-Grandchildren: William, Leah, Dustin, Coady, Carson, Morry. Thanks to the medical staff at St.Clair's (7 East, 7 West). Also, thanks to the staff at Agnes Pratt Home, her home caregivers; especially Dr.McGarry, special friend Catherine Hynes & Caroline Snow. Jean Agnes Morry (nee Kavanagh)


Born In: St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Born: May 5th, 1951
Passed in: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Passed on: May 4th, 2016
Jeanie Morry of Ferryland, passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer on the morning of May 4, 2016 at the Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital, Ottawa. Predeceased by her husband Robert Joseph Morry; her mother Genevieve Clowe; grandparents Margaret and William Kavanagh; mother and father-in-law Elizabeth and John Morry; special friends Lorraine and Bride. Leaving to mourn her children Shelly (Sam) of Ottawa, Susan (Scott) of Ottawa, and Steve (Mary) of New York; her precious grandchildren Morry, Sara, Leah, William; sisters Shirley, Molly, Ruby, Eileen, Paula; brothers Bill, Ronnie, Lindsay, Ernest; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws, aunts and uncles in the Morry, Kavanagh and Clowe families; special sister-in- law Sheila; special friends Doris, Mary, Eileen, Mercedes, Mary Lou, Edna, Rosie and many more. She will be missed by all who knew her. Special thank you to her cousin Ann Gushue and to all those who helped with her fundraiser; to those who came to visit her in Ottawa, to the medical teams and staff in Newfoundland, at the General and the Elizabeth Bruyere hospital in Ottawa, the Health Sciences Centre in London, ON and for the many emergency calls she made to Dr. Peter J Morry. Cremation has taken place by her request. Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life will take place at Holy Trinity RC Church in Ferryland on Saturday, July 30 at 10am followed by a reception at Calvert Community Centre for friends and family.

We take comfort in knowing that Mom is now reunited with Dad as well her dear feline friend of 17 years, Jester.

Apparently she adopted her mother's maiden name as her surname. Fredi Caines says that she was born before her parents' marriage and that her father MAY be "Tyne Keef" (Valentine O'Keefe), but no one knows for certain.
