July 31 Our second little son Brian Claude born Wednesday July 31st at 10 p.m. Was in bed a month. Bad leg. Miss Cossar with me for two mths. Then Miss Falkner for a month. Brian very wakeful baby. I had to take tonic and sleeping powders after nurse left. Brian weighed about 12 lbs. Not as fat as other babies.
