From - The Telegram, St. John's, Newfoundland. September 13, 2013 Bernadette (Bernie) Costello - July 30, 1927 - September 12, 2013 of Ferryland. Passed away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home in St. John's on Thursday, September 12th, 2013. Predeceased by her parents Lighthouse Keeper John Will Costello & Clara (Carew) Costello, her sisters Esther White, Mercedes Roper and Mary Furlong, brothers Leo & Vincent Costello, and nephew Michael White. Left with fond and loving memories are her son Edward; special niece Maureen White Power, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special friends and neighbors Joan Costello, Edna Breen, Kit Clowe and Mona Barbour. Resting at Fahey's Funeral Home in Fermeuse on Friday, Sept. 13 from 1 - 9 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church in Ferryland with Christian Burial at Ferryland RC Cemetery.
