John Kitchen Winsor was born to Cedric Howard Winsor and Marion Jefford of Brazil Field [formerly Southside] in St. John's, Newfoundland.
His grandparents were Washington Hill Winsor and Harriet Allan Chafe married at St. Mary's Anglican church, Southside St. John's, NL, April 21, 1862.
John's parents had at least three children.
John "Jack" Kitchener Winsor in the 59th Royal artillery World War II killed in action
Cedric Augustus "Gus" Win(d)sor served in the Royal Navy World War II and survived
Clarence Win(d)sor served in the Royal Navy World War II and survived.
John joined the 59th [Newfoundland] Heavy Artillery Regiment during WW II and was assigned service number 971123.

He served overseas and was killed in action on 22 July 1944. He is buried Ryes War Cemetery, Calvados, France. 5782

I first learned of his existence from the burial record of his wife, Agnes. It reads: "August 19th [1619] Agnes the Wife of Joseph Winsor buried."

I am making the leap to place him as a brother of Thomas since the Denbury register contains no Winsers or Winsors prior to their appearance, seemingly suggesting that they both move there at about the same time and likely from the same place. 15
