Anna Maher (Clowe) - Surrounded by her loving family, Anna passed peacefully away at her home in Ferryland on Mother's Day, May 10, 2015 at the wonderful age of 87. The saying "You never stop being a mother" shone through on her final day. Her amazing strength and courage will be forever embedded in our hearts. Predeceased by her loving husband, Angus in 1997, her parents James and Bridget Clowe, her sister Mercedes (Wilf) and her brothers Raymond (Mary), Allan, Derm (Betty Mae), Reginald (Margie), Austin, Arnold, James (Junior) and Anthony. Anna leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons Russell (Colleen), Sean (Shirley) and Craig (Beverly). Her precious grandchildren, Brad, Julie (Jason), Andre (Vanessa) and his mother Kathleen, Tiffany (Colin) and Travis (Tracy). Also leaving with many treasured memories, her two great-grandchildren, Kate and Cole, her brothers, Vince (Viola), Herb (Helen), her twin brother Kevin (Kathleen), her sisters-in-law, Alice, Madeline, Josephine, Helen and her special nephew Derrick (Margie), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. A very special thank you to the Community Health Nurses of Ferryland for their many years of friendship and care. Resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse on Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 12 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 13 at 10:30 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Ferryland, with internment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

From Dave Wells, copied from the Evening Telegram, 240308: "CLOWE, Arnold Joseph (Dolly) - It is with great sadness the family of the late Dolly Clowe announces his passing at home in Ferryland on Saturday March 22, 2008, at the age of 70. Predeceased by his parents James and Bridget Clowe of Ferryland; Brothers June (Helen), Reg (Margie), Anthony, Austin (Alice), Derm (Betty-Mae), and step brother Raymond Williams (the late Mary Rogers). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 43 years, Madeline (nee Graham); his son ToddArnold (Leona Hagen), daughters Sergeant Roxanne Clowe (Ken King), Leanna (Paul Dalton), and Amanda (Paul Raymond). Poppy left behind four precious grandchildren, Emily & Thomas Hagen and Brianna and Gracie Dalton whom he thought the world of; sisters Anna (late Angus Maher), Mercedes (the late Wilf Windsor); brothers Kevin (Kathleen) and Vincent (Viola); stepbrothers Allen (Josephine Williams), & Herb (Helen Williams); brother-in-law and best friend Don (Elizabeth Graham); sisters-in-law Edna (Maurice Breen) and Shirley (Al Walsh); many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends, including his Florida buddies wherehis spirit will live on forever.
