Mary Alice Clowe- (September 09, 1938 - November 09, 2021) - It is with overwhelming sadness we announce the Peaceful passing of our mother Alice Clowe. She was surrounded by her beautiful family and she lived a vibrant life 83 years.
Alice is predeceased by her parents Ernest and Louise Croft, husband Austin, son Wally, Brothers Henry and Terry and many members of the Clowe and Croft families.
Broken hearted are her children, Brian (Helen), Barry (Muriel), Don (Maxine), Carl (Beverly), Tony, Lisa, Connie, Lorna (Glenn) and Jennifer (Brian). She was blessed with 29 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren whom she adored.
Alice also leaves behind her sisters Florence(Cyril), Delores (Brian), her brothers Ronnie (Margaret deceased), Kevin, Paddy (Louise) and sisters in law Annie and Bridie Croft. Also, leaves to mourn a large circle of family and friends.
Special thanks to the amazing staff of Interventional Radiology Unit at Health Sciences Centre for your kindness/care to mom during her visits. To Alison Keay NP for her visits and care to our mom during her illness. Thanks to Dr. McGarry for his care over the years and to Michelle Rossiter CHN for her kindness and compassion over the past few weeks. We truly appreciate all you did for her.
Alice will be resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse from 12 noon - 9 pm on Friday, November 12, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday November 13, 2021 at 11:00am from Holy Trinity Church, Ferryland.
In Lieu of flowers a donation can be made to HP Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre or a charity of ones choice.
Due to Covid restrictions mass is by invite only. If you wish to attend Mass please message Helen at 363-7443.
