Immigration: From England, 1949, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. QUESTED, Pamela Born in London, England April 10, 1923 and died in Victoria on November 24, 2017. After serving in the RAF in WW II, Pam and Les, along with their 2 children and her mother, moved to Victoria in 1949 where she resided for the rest of her life. Her family meant everything to her, and she was the bond that kept us all close over the years. Pam was predeceased by husband, Les, in 1981, tragically by 2 of her grandsons, Glen in 1986 and Dean in 2014, 2nd husband, Jim Hawes and long time companion, Al Smart. She is survived by her daughter, Val (Mike) Morry, her son, John (Maureen) Quested, grand-children, Lisa (Steve) Cross and Doug (Taryn) Quested, and great grandchildren, Melina and Michelle Morry, Nik and Morgan Cross, and Carter and Avery Quested and "adopted" daughter, Shirli Lim and family. We will all miss her very much. Our thanks to staff at the Priory in Adult Day Care where she enjoyed many happy hours, and especially to the staff of Heritage Woods, Arbutus Cottage, who provided such loving care and support in her final days. No service or flowers by request. If desired, in recognition of her love and kindness towards animals, donations in her name may be made to Wild ARC, 1020 Malloch Road, Victoria, BC V9C 4G9.
