180807: Email from Fergus Kennedy in reference to whether or not this was the same Kate Quinlisk, aged 27, who was noted in Ellis Island records as a passenger on the MAJESTIC arriving on March 30 1899 from Queenstown (Cobh), born in Cloughjordan, and destined for Chicago: "Their daughter Catherine was born on Feb 4 1867, which would make her 32 in 1899. I suppose she wouldn't be the first woman to lie about her age!! However, if so, she didn't stay in Chicago, as I found her in the 1901 census back in Behamore " age 30 ", and again in 1911, now age 35!!!"

The actual ship's manifest shows she had been in the US in 1898 and apparently five years before, and that she was destined for Chicago to see her sister at 601 Duncan park, Chicago Illinois.

Description
Headstone with incised inscription. Pediment top with wrought iron cross. Centre of pediment contains a lamb resting on a recumbent cross. Ornate brackets beneath pediment. Style is similar to headstones produced at the time at Glasnevin, Dublin. Made of limestone.
