I am linking these two boys, Patrick and Daniel, as grandchildren of John and Honora Quinlisk via their son John. It seems most likely that he is the father though I do not know at this time who the mother may be. The gravestone lists the two boys by their Christian names only which I take to mean that their surname was the same as the grandfather and the only son I have for him is John. It's a stretch but the only way I can include them on the tree at this time pending further information.

240124:
Today I have decided that I finally have enough facts and have reduced the possible candidates to only one so that it makes sense to merge the Patrick Quinlisk who was born to Mary Loughnane with the man who married twice (as shown below) and is buried in Kilcomin cemetery. The notes pertaining to my earlier doubts are included below under the date 080821.
From the facts available, it appears that Patrick Quinlisk married twice. His first marriage to Judith Gaynor was brief and produced only one child - Edward. They were married in Cloughjordan on 27 Jan. 1870 and she married in the first quarter of 1878 (death registered at Roscrea between Janury and March 1878).
Between January and March 1879 he remarried to Margaret Flannery (registered in Nenagh, but where the marriage was performed is not known at this time). From this marriage there were three children who appear in the 1901 and 1911 censuses as Honora, Nannie and Daniel, but from the common memorial in Kilcomin Graveyard it seems that Nannie's real name was Eileen.
I have yet to find a monument or gravestone for Patrick Quinlisk and either of his wives but there is a memorial in the Kilcomin Graveyard which quite clearly has been erected by a grandnephew named Patrick [no surname given] which mentions Daniel, Edward, "Nora" and "Eileen", the latter of whom married a man named Patrick Cleary. This does not yet tie in with the main Quinlisk memorial in that cemetery on which the names of Jamie's grandfather John Quinlisk and his never married son Patrick Quinlisk are the last to be memorialised. But the connection may yet be found.

080821:
I found a marriage for a Patrick Quinlisk of Behamore to a woman named Judith Gaynor in the Cloughjordan register found on Ancestry. It occurred on Jan 27 1870. It shows he was of Behamore and she of Lower Grange. The witnesses were Patrick Quinlisk and Hanora Gleeson. The priest was P. O'Meara. Other than her name I know they had a son named Edward Christened in the same church on July 31 1874 and it was noted to be "conditionate". The witnesses to the Christening were John Quinlisk and Onny Tracy and the priest was John McKenna.
Whether this is the same Patrick is up in the air because there was at least one other Patrick of similar age in the parish at this time so I cannot ascertain which was the groom. I am recording this here rather than attaching the wife and son's name because of this doubt. But I will create a "new" Patrick Quinlisk with this wife and son and may in due course be able to merge this "new" Patrick with one of the two or three possibilities.

The folowing information was found on a photograph sent to us by Jane Leahy on August 4, 2000 showing the Memorial Pat erected in Clougjordan RC Cemetary in honour of his parents, wife, siblings and children, where he, his son and granson are also memorialised. It says:

120908: Verifying information against the data available online at the North Tipperary Genealogy Centre has shown that information on the family memorial contains many errors of date, age and even spelling of names
181008: Curiosity got the better of Fergus Kennedy and he paid 5 Euros each to the Tipperary North Family History Centre for copies of the text of the birth records of Patrick and two of his siblings, Ann and Michael: 1) Patrick Quinlisk, parents Patrick Quinlisk and Johanna "Deane", bapt. 27 Dec 1816

When Patrick died, his property was taken over by his son Denis, who had at least nine children with his wife Honoria Hawley. These children are all recorded in the baptismal or civil records. Unfortunately we have no dates for Denis. However, it looks as though he had at least three brothers from the baptismal records - Michael ( 1839 ),Daniel ( 1843 ), and Thomas ( 1845 ). Chris has rightly pointed out that according to Ellen's death record she would have been 46 in 1845, but we don't have to assume that her age at death is completely accurate, and of course it's not impossible to have a baby at that age, even if her dates are accurate."
Son Denis was present at death which was registered on July 1, 1870 by Arthur A. Walsh
