I've had another few lines from Gordon saying he lives in Rosyth, which is in the Kingdom of Fife, as it's known.

He tells me Jean died before Douglas, she had a fall and didn't really get over it. The same thing happened to Betty, Norman's wife. He's asking where I live and wondering if he's right about Norman being in the police after the navy. At least he's showing an interest.

Mildred Lilly 87, Sydney Mildred Lilly, 87, of George St., Sydney, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Bonavista, Nfld., she was the daughter of the late Wm. and Alice (Mouland) Russell. She was a member of St. John Anglican Church and the ladies guild. She is survived by four daughters, Thelma (Elmer) MacKeigan, Sydney, Greta (Duncan) MacLeod, Sydney, Betty Lou (Laurie) Landry, and Mary (Reg) MacCormack, both of Toronto, Ont., a sister Greta (Ken) Wheeler, St. John's, Nfld., 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a special friend Rod MacNeil. Lilly's son William passed away suddenly Saturday evening, Oct. 14, in Edmonton, Alberta. Predeceased by her husband William, daughter Alice, and two brothers, Max and Clarence. Visitation will be today (Monday) from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. at Sydney Memorial Chapel. Service is Tuesday 10 a.m. in St. John Anglican Church, Rev. Glenn Kent officiating. Burial in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to any charity.
