Single. Drowned while duck hunting with William Sesk at Ferryland Head. One story has it that one of them supposedly fell off of a cliff and the other was lost trying to rescue him, others say they were lost trying to rescue their dog.

The above information, like much of what appears on Don's website on this family, is apocryphal and suspect. William Sesk died by drowing alright but on his own, not with William Barnable. William Sesk drowned when he fell off the gangplank disembarking from a steamer in 1912.
