There is a very scant record in the register of the independent parish in Dartmouth which I found at the MHA in St. John's. I believe the transcript made by Keith Matthews may be abbreviated and there may be more details in the original. What Keith has transcribed is as follows:
Baptism: 1755 (I'm going on the date of the person above as this space is left blank in the transcript) Surname: Graham Christian Name: Jn Father/Mother: Chris
That's all there is. It seems likely that this refers to John Graham, brother of Mary.
I think the children would have been christened in the "dissenter" church because, being of Scottish ancestry, the family was most likely Presbyterian to begin with and would have preferred not to attend one of the Anglican parishes in town.

Neither John Heath Graham nor his sister Mary Graham were mentioned in the will of their aunt, Elizabeth [Graham] Ellis even though their brother and two sisters were mentioned. This suggests that they were probably deceased in 1844 when the will was probated.

Apparently the bride and groom had the same surname.
050925:
Note that there are three plausible marriage records for a William Graham, 2 in Kirklinton, and one in Carlisle: one each in 1704, 1707 and 1710. There is really no way of knowing which of these is correct and hence the name of the wife is only conjectural at this time (given in the three instances as Katherine, Kathrina and Catherine. This is an amazing coincidence in one small community and it seems likely that the transcripts are duplicates with different dates. No original images are available online.

The same record seen on http://www.dartmouth-history.org.uk/dartmouth/gene/htm/100146_0.htm shows the notation that she was a Sojourner (not from Darmouth) and both signed with Xs, meaning they were illiterate. So I suspect that these two were in no way connected to the Graham family of Dartmouth, or only remotely so.

211009: At this time I cannot connect this man to the several related Graham families who were in the parish at that time. Needs more research.
