Notes
General:
231007: According to Mom: Married and lived in New Jersey. She and sister Mabel married two brothers who were involved in distribution of jukeboxes before the war. They tried to talk Mom into taking one home to St. John's and starting a new branch of the business there but she refused because it would have been a conflict of interest with her job as Auditor at Customs.
270313: Laura and Irene do not show up with the family in the 1930 Census. It is possible they were both married at that time.
Irene shows up as the wife of Robert Collis but his brother (Laura's husband) is still shown as unmarried so Laura must have been working outside of the home somewhere and still single.

From Geoff Martin 020911: Jane Martin was first married to Mr. Vesey/Voisey/Voysey/Vasey………………………….. and then married Murrain.
Here's a wild ride for you:
Jane Martin was married to Thomas Voysey in 1829. Her children were listed as Thomas and Richard Veysey in her father's will which is available online at <http://ngb.chebucto.org/Wills/martin-thomas-1-468.shtml> Her second and last child from that marriage, Richard, was born in 1833.
In the same will she is listed as Jane Murran. The first record (as of April 2004) of a Murrain child from the marriage of Thomas and Jane is May 1840.
