240308 from Linda Merle's Genes Reunited family tree: "It is probably that she died on Sept 27, 1824 in Polmont, though the death is recorded only as "Widow Dalrymple". Covering her was the parish's best mortcloth"

260910: This new from Linda Merle: "Allison Mitchell, wife of Thomas Dalrymple, was the child of Alexander Mitchell and Jane Goodall who moved from West Lothian to Polmont. I have two more generations back but from this point it is very tentative because there were a lot of Mitchells with similar names and some very bad records. For example I have her possible death date from a mortcloth, but the name is just 'Widow Dalrymple'. Thomas died in 1818 (Morthcloth). He still has a tombstone that I witnessed on a trip back."
