About 1911, she, her daughter Marion, and grandson John F. Sheppard move to Grand Falls to live with her son Alan, who had built a new house on Carmelite Road. 050315:
I never knew that Christina Goodall Minty had two sons until I read a letter from her to her aunt Mary Minty Bailey written in early 1942 in which she mentions that she got her two boys back after two years being out of Edinburgh for their protection during air raids. The letter is in the possession of Christopher Bailey. The boys names are Douglas and Norrie (as far as I can make it out).
260415:
Scotland's People show two Norman Ernest Taylor's having births registered in the same year (1931) in Edinburgh, one in the Haymarket district and one in Canongate. My guess is this is an accidental duplication of the record because it is too much of a coincidence. The Taylors and Mintys were known to live for a long time in the Haymarket District and Douglas's brother's name was Ernest so I think this is a given.

280120 from Christine Taylor Wells:Medical:
Funnily enough I was thinking of the Taylor side of the family only yesterday and in particular, my Aunt Olive (my father's sister) who, I believe died when she was 14. Apparently, she collapsed outside and it may have been a brain tumour but that's all the sketchy details I have. Very sad and I don't suppose you came across any details of this in your searches.
Dropped dead suddenly in front of her home. 2487
