Ref:audiotape of 1964 of his bro.Rev.Wm Uphill: He was unassertive an d quiet,
unlike his spirited twin. He was in love with someone he could not hav e. He
married a schoolmate, whom everyone called Lucy; their first two child ren were
boys, both of whom died as infants. Walter committed suicide,age 58.

William's tape was made age "nearly 83" in early Sept. 1964. He was th e only
