This person was buried in Denbury even though she was a resident of Hennock at the time of her death, suggesting a Denbury birth. But at this time I cannot associate her with any of the known Denbury Winser families. I suspect that she was actually not a Winser but married to a Winser man and I have not yet located the marriage record to make the connection because the marriage probably occurred in Hennock.

Needs more research than I am prepared to invest at this time so I am only placing this in the family file disconnected from the family tree for now. 8689

At this time I cannot definitely link this Susanna Winser to any of the Winser families in Denbury since all are otherwise accounted for and none would have been single and alive at the time Edmund Adams, an illegitimate child was born nor when the marriage took place between Thomas Churchwill and Susanna Winser. It is possible she was a soujourner from elsewhere working as a house servant and taken advantage of by her employer. This was how most bastard children resulted. But it seems more likely that she was indeed a part of one of these families and I have somehow missed the baptism record.

I also do not know for certain that the single mother was the same Susanna who later married Thomas Churchward or if there were two Susanna Winsors whose baptisms I have missed. It seems unlikely. 8691

I have checked carefully twice and there is no sign of a baptism for this son anywhere in the Denbury parish register. Sometimes it seems that the Winser family had their children baptised in other churches.
