Letitia died in Kimberley in 1908. She lies, in the family plot, beside her young children in the Windsorton Cemetery.

Concerning the family photo in the Media gallery:
This is from the Collection of Anna Elton Morris, now donated to the Centre for Newfoundland Studies. In July 2018 I photographed this photo and the note that Anna had put on the back with a post it note. The note said: "This photo was taken outside "Rockmount", The residence of Peter Ford Windsor at Windsorton, South Africa. L to R: Clifford Ford Windsor, Letitia Toynbe Windsor, Dudley Charles Windsor, Seymour William Windsor, Daisy Maud Windsor, Peter Ford Windsor. When Peter Ford married the widow Letitia Walker she had four children. Their first child was Percy Windsor. In 1889 a great tragedy occurred. All the above five children were stricken down by diphtheria between January 8th and February 14th." The way the sentence is worded it makes it sound as if the children in the photo were stricken by diphtheria; this was not the case. It was the children that preceded them. And of these Percy died in 1888, not 1889.

Geoffrey Williams has the marriage taking place in St. Clements. I think this is a mistake. On the other hand the family of the bride may have lived in St. Clements Parish. It would be highly irregular for her to be married elsewhere, even in the grooms parish. Needs to be verified.Children: 1. Mary Jeffrey Morey 2. Capt. Richard Morrey

081106;
There is a marriage reported in the St. Clement Townstall register as transcribed by the Devon Family History Society dated 28 02 1755 between Richard Honey and Mary Blackler. There is another marriage between James Rennells and Mary Blackler on 09 Feb 1766. This is too close to be a coincidence. It must be the same pair but with a different date of marriage. This needs to be checked out against the original register entries.
211009: From The Deanery of Totnes Burial records MORRY MARY 78 03 10 1820
This may not be the right Mary Morry but it is the only one I have that vaguely corresponds.
181214:
While I may have selected the correct Mary Morry from the few records that seem pertinent, there is no way that this Mary Blackler Morry was born in 1742 as shown if she was married in 1749!
For this reason I am deleting the birth information as it is unrealistic and I cannot find any other information to substitute for it.

I cannot say with any degree of certainty at this point when and where she was born or the names of her parents. However, it seems possible that this is she and I am including the information here for the present time:

This is from the RC records at Bay Bulls and the baptism would have taken place at the church in Witless Bay in those days. It does make me wonder if Edwin Duder would have married an RC as he and his childen were clearly not RC (they were Anglican).
