Got word from Enid O'Brien that Gail had died. She found her obit on the Caul's Funeral Home website. It did not appear in the Telegram.

Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. Frances "Gail" Howell, aged 75 years. Predeceased by her grandson David Howell; mother "Bride" Bridget Carey; "step" father Paul Riche; mother-in-law Helen Howell; father-in-law Albert Howell; sister Yvonne Carey.

Leaving to mourn her husband Wayne; 5 children Gail, Jackie, Wayne (Tracy), Darryl (McKenzie) and Mark; 2 grandchildren Douglas and Dionna; as well as many sisters, brothers, family and friends. Special thank you to Margie Howell, Cathy Hunt and Sherry Lewis.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral details to be announced at a later date.

Email from Enid O'Brien 27/02/02: Hiliary died a young man (age 37 years). It is my understanding from a family member that Hiliary had a problem with alcohol. He was an accountant and died Oct. 3, 1921 and lived at Warbury Cottage in St. John's at the time of his death. (Ref. Even Telegram)
