Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on December 11, 2015, Bertha (Mary) Smith of Marystown, in her 70th year. Leaving to mourn with fond & loving memories children, Wayne (Letty), Wanda (John), Gary (Jackie), Keith (Tanya), Greg (Kellie), Carolyn (Bill), Colin, & Paul (Tamara). Grandchildren Maegan, Dylan, Jamie, Amy, Hailey, Jillian, Liam, Mila & Elijah. Great grandchildren Amaya & Eli. Sisters Nellie Morry, & Gertrude Trainor.Predeceased by husband William. Ellen (Nellie) Morry - Passed peacefully away at her home in Ferryland on January 22, 2017 at the age of 84. Predeceased by her parents James and Mary Meade, husband Doug, daughter Betty, and other members of the Meade and Morry families. Leaving to mourn her sons Graham (Jacques), Jim (Lynn), and Noel, her son-in-law Gerard; her grandchildren, Keith, Aundrea (Jason), Melissa (Ryan), Shawn (Roseanne), Amanda (Brad), Kerri-Lynn, Joshua, Melissa (Kenny), and Daniel (Samantha); her great-grandchildren, Dawson, Owen, Gavin, Mia, Isabella, Henry, and Jayden; her sister Gertrude, other members of the Meade and Morry families; and her close friend and neighbour, Sheila.
Cremation has taken place, visitation will be from 2 - 9 pm at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse, on Thursday, January 26, 2017. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church in Ferryland, on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11 am. Interment to take place at a later date.

Gertrude Trainor (nee Meade) - (January 25th, 1938 - March 19th, 2017) - It is with saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 19, 2017 in her 79th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Leo Trainor; parents Molly and James Meade; stepmother Veronica; sisters Nellie, Kathleen, Bertha; brothers Donald, Cecil, and Junior. Left with many years of happy memories are her children; Charlie (Sadie), Bertha (David), Molly (Reg), Sharon (Gerard), Ann Marie, Doug (Rhonda). Precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren Amanda (Roland), Chris, Jillian (Danny), Andrew (Natasha), Nicole, Allison, Dennis, Grady, Adelle and Mason. Also remembered by her special friend, Steve Brophy and family, and lifelong friends, Mary O'Neill, Joan and Leonard O'Neill.
